Stall of Gosława
Stall of Gosława
I would like to write a few words about this wonderful woman with whom I am starting to work in small steps. As he says, Kram Gosławy was born out of passion and fascination with the Slavic language. We slowly get to know each other and we will introduce new things to the store, which are mostly done by hand and sometimes with the help of a sewing machine. Kram Gosławy is a Slavic-style handicraft and REKO works created on request or in your free time. New and yet everything inspired and stylized for the early Middle Ages, and what it creates is a reconstruction, above all, of clothes from that period or is maintained in such a climate, but which can be used in modern times:
* linen and wool bags,
* men's shirts hemmed with a hand-woven selvedge,
* iconic linen and wool pouches that can be worn around the neck or tied to the belt.
Our ancestors wore amulets in similar ones. Nowadays, they can be used to store small items or as a jewelry case. Slightly larger woolen bags, perfect for hiding e.g. a phone, wallet,
* necklaces inspired by jewelery worn by the Slavs a thousand years ago, which are made of wooden, glass, metal and bone beads, shells and amber. They look beautiful both with a warm woolen sweater and a summer dress.
* motanki- Slavic dolls of good wishes. "Ethnographic research proves that dolls combined ludic, playful, magical and cult functions." - the whole beautiful description can be found at https://www.facebook.com/Kram-Gos%C5%82awy-110316033718232/
* and homemade preserves.
Until now, the main group of recipients were reenactors and LAROs, as well as tourists at historical festivals. I hope that this group will grow significantly and that our cooperation will turn into a long friendship that will result in joint trips to festivals.
